Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join a Stem Society Round?

Each round opens to current subscribers first, then the waitlist, then the public. Waitlist members receive a private link before enrollment is announced publicly. When a round opens to the public it will be listed in the shop.

The best way to secure a spot is to get on the waitlist.

How does delivery work?

Bouquets are delivered locally on Thursday afternoons during an active round. You don't need to be home, they arrive in water and are left in a shaded spot near your door.

Prefer to pick up? The home stand is available after 3pm. Your preference is selected at checkout.

What is the delivery area?

Delivery is available within Tacoma, Fircrest, and University Place.

What if no one is home at delivery?

No problem. Bouquets arrive in water and will be placed in shade when possible. Bring them in as soon as you can, and refresh the water with the included floral food.

Can I skip a week?

Rounds run for a defined number of consecutive weeks and can't be paused mid-round. If you'll be away, you're welcome to gift that week's bouquet to another Tacoma local friend. Just send their delivery address by Tuesday of that week and I'll take care of the rest.

What If i need to cancel?

Cancellations are available up to a week prior to the start of the round. After that point, the enrollment is final, as planting and harvest plans are already in motion.

Can i request specific flowers?

Bouquets are built from what is blooming at peak each week. Specific varieties can't be requested, but each bouquet reflects what is best in that moment of the season.

Can I Gift a round?

Yes! A Stem Society round can be purchased as a gift. Enter the recipient's delivery information at checkout and add a note during the order process if you'd like one included.

Do you offer one time bouquets?

When the garden allows, occasional one-off bouquets are made available at the home stand on Saturday mornings. Follow along on Instagram for availability announcements.
